Investment Casting

Process Description:

Now it is possible to quickly turn your ideas in metallic parts in short periods of time. Instead of months to generate a metal part, the rapid prototyping processes can produce parts in weeks.

 Stainless investment casting from a QuickcastTM  pattern.

QUICKCAST™ Patterns
 The Quickcast™ build style produces hollow stereolithography parts. It is used as a lost wax pattern in the investment casting process. This allows your concept to go from idea to a metal part in a matter of weeks. 

Maximum one piece build size is 20 x 20 x 20 inches. 

THERMOJET™ Patterns
 Also, available to us are ThermoJet patterns. This is your best choice if you desire wax-based models and patterns for investment casting, or other molding and casting applications. 
Maximum one piece build size is 10 x 7.5 x 8 inches (xyz)

Casting Services

We use a variety of sources that can provide prototype metal casting. 

Investment Casting

A wide variety of materials can be investment cast. Excellent for small quantities.

Plaster Casting

Available for lower temperature melt materials: Aluminum, zinc and bronze. Cost effective for short production runs.
